Thank you to Socially Ahead, our new Social Media Tip of the Week Contributor
Our Social Media Tip(s) of the Week is ZombieBooth Alive in 3D
ZombieBooth Sometimes you just feel like being a Zombie!
ZombieBooth takes advantage of the popularity of image-morphing apps to transform your face into a zombie, and for the most part it works very well. With a few added quirks and some interesting features to boot, ZombieBooth does more than other similarly themed apps, creating a surprisingly lifelike experience that can be somewhat creepy.
The app is free, and available in both iPhone and Android the effects are pretty incredible, and the results are fun to watch. If you are a zombie fan, this is a fun app to take for a spin and even creep your kids out.

Working Mom’s Luncheon with Teri Cochrane
Where dessert is served with therapy!
Teri Cochrane is the CEO and founder of Healing Paths. With the ever increasing number of children (and adults) suffering from life threatening allergies we know that our environment, food additives, toxic chemicals and things we may even be aware of are impacting our health and the health of our children. Teri found herself caring for her own child who was slowly waning with little hope from his doctors that he would even be able to escape seizures and would most likely never grow into a normal life or body. Teri will speak about health for mothers and their children and share how her son’s health was the catalyst to find the answers through nutrition and more for fighting back and claiming a healthy life! read more

NeuroMoments Brain Science Tip of The Week!
Why Oreos Are As Addictive As Cocaine To Your Brain!
A small new study suggests the brain responds to Oreo cookies quite like it responds to actual drugs – at least if you’re a rat. The “pleasure center” of the brain, the nucleus accumbens, apparently gets just as activated in response to Oreos as it does to cocaine and morphine, which could actually have some major public health implications.
Joseph Schroeder, associate professor of psychology and director of the behavioral neuroscience program, and Lauren Cameron ’14 found that eating Oreos activated more neurons in the brain’s “pleasure center” than exposure to drugs of abuse.
