NFTE DC Region is looking to make a move provided we can find pro-bono space (or discounted space/sublease at $40,000 year) in exchange for major sponsorship visibility and a head table at the upcoming April 27th Dare to Dream Gala (www.daretodreamdc.org <http://www.daretodreamdc.org> ).
In 1987, NFTE was founded by Steve Mariotti (a former business executive and entrepreneur) while he was a public high school teacher. Since 1987, NFTE has worked with nearly 330,000 young people. NFTE currently operates programs in 21 states and 12 countries outside the U.S., and has over 1,500 active Certified Entrepreneurship Teachers. In 1994, the NFTE DC Region division opened and over the past 17 years has provided nearly 22,700 youth with the life and entrepreneurial skills needed to become active participants in our community.
We are seeking a Real Estate Sponsor and would be pleased to offer a ton of visibility for this major in-kind contribution, recognizing that this would be as valuable to us as a cash contribution.
· We prefer to stay in DC or near Metro
· Metro accessible
· Offices for 4-5 staff, plus 2 part-time interns
· Partial open space floor plan fine – especially for interns
· Conference room access (happy to share it and a lot of great leaders visit us!)
· @1,200 – 1,600 sq.ft. estimated need
· Given the cost of moving we are looking for 5 year move (ideally) and can move in June 2011.
We do have many VIPs that visit our offices and would be happy to leverage recognition visibility for our Real Estate Sponsor. We could consider naming opportunities of our BizCenter, the Conference Room, or other. We could do a media release (if appropriate). We could give a head table at our Dare to Dream Gala with full benefits and/or podium announcement at the Gala if NFTE DC Region’s offices are sponsored in part or in full.
