Like it or not we are all part of our great big beautiful planet! Unfortunately, the topic of global warming has become a “polarizing” (pardon the pun) topic fostering debates and arguments that either side has it wrong. There is a belief that global warming is leading to our extreme winter conditions because as the Polar Ice Caps melt the waters are cooled as they rise and this in-turn creates the ideal conditions for colder winters. You can see a brief video on the potential impact of global warming from the Discovery Channel on Curiosity.Com There is even speculation that failure to take action to manage our harmful impact on the earth could lead us into another ice age!

Please note that I am not a scientist, geologist or expert on this subject and do not in any way portend to be so. However, I have always been interested in solar and it’s potential to bring clean and affordable energy to the world.

The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) has announced “Shout Out For Solar Day” on January 24, 2014. Check it out and give a shout it this is something you car about! If you like solar, tell your friends, family and coworkers, “#GoSolar #USA!” Join solar supporters from across the nation for a day of action on January 24, 2014.

If you are really interested in Solar here are two upcoming events that may be of interest to you!
